It is my pleasure to invite you to the 2027 meeting of the International Forum for the Study of Itch, to be held in the beautiful city of Udaipur, India — the ‘City of Lakes.’ For many of us, this will be a first visit to South Asia. What a perfect setting for a stimulating exchange of ideas on everything related to itch.
Our field is advancing at a remarkable pace, and this meeting will showcase its range and superb quality — from mechanisms and measurements, to models, imaging, epidemiology, and therapeutic advances. We welcome trainees, clinicians, and researchers from around the world with the goal of fostering high-impact collaborations that will continue to drive discovery.
The program promises to be rich and thought-provoking, and we encourage all attendees to engage fully — in lectures, at posters, and over shared meals in this extraordinary city. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones, and to the conversations that will shape the future of our field.
